Day 1: Venice – Istria (drive 2 h 52 min, 227 km)
Arrival at the port of Punta Sabbioni, boat ride to Venice. Our guide will guide you in one of the world’s most beautiful and romantic cities. The tour will give you a great overview of Venice that you can next time discover in deep alone: Riva degli Schiavoni – Bridge of Sighs -St. Mark’s Square the Doge’s Palace – Rialto Bridge – Grande Channel. At 16:00 return to Punto Sabbioni, departure to Croatia. Dinner and accommodation in Porec area.
Day 2: Pula -NP Brijuni – Poreč (drive 2 h 5 min, 119 km)
After breakfast departure to the City of Pula. Sightseeing of the arena and the city. Short ride to Fažana and from here sail to NP Brijuni Explore the park by walking and tourist train. You will enjoy the view of many plants and animals, previewed archaeological excavations and the exhibition “Tito on Brijuni”, which shows the period where Brijuni islands were a meeting place for politicians from around the world. In the afternoon, lunch in Histria Aromatica Park. It is an idyllic Istrian ambience with the fantastic sea view and it is conceived as a unique production and educational agro-tourism center following the cycle called “From seed to brand”. Before returning to the Hotel, we will take a walk-through city Poreč and find out all about the Euphrasia’s basilica built in the 6th century and recognized by UNESCO.
Day 3: Vižinada – Rakutele – Motovun – Višnjan (drive 1 h 23 min, 67.1 km)
We will start our journey by a small tourist train and we will enjoying a welcome drink at the legendary Parenzana railway station in the small town of Vižinada. The hilltop above the river Mirna valley will be the perfect place to admire the view of the sea and the green picturesque hinterland. The tunnels and viaducts will take us to our second stop – Rakotule. We will relax enjoying the sound of folklore music, homemade bread, olive oil, Istrian wine and other traditional delicacies. Breath-taking panoramic views will follow us for the rest of the way. After we arrive at the old railway station, we will swap our small train for a bus taking us to the magical town of Motovun. We will delight in the flavors and fragrances of this lovely hilltop Istrian town, enjoying the comfort of its medieval town walls. Lunch in Motovun.
Day 4: Lim Bay – Rovinj (boat or bus – drive 1 h 32 min, 71.5 km)
Today Hop on a boat, find your perfect spot and enjoy the summer breeze and, most importantly, this fun boat ride. Watch the sea, small towns and coves, sea gulls and fish following you on your journey and have fun in good company. After enjoying the views of the romantic town of Rovinj, explore the peculiar Istria’s natural phenomenon – the Lim Bay. The bay was formed in Jurassic limestone, it is 10 km long and 600 m wide and it will surprise you with its rare and diverse vegetation and steep cliffs. It is also called the Lim Fjord thanks to the movie “The Vikings” with Kirk Douglas, where Lim Canal became a fjord, and the locals often jokingly call the end of the bay the Lim Buttocks. Anyhow, there will be swimming, sunbathing and a good time at the Lim Bay. Lunch will be served on board followed by the music and you’ll have plenty of positive impressions to take back with you.
Day 5: Slovenia – Italy
After breakfast, departure for home. The path leads you across Slovenia, known for many natural beauties.
